Hiking - Williamsburg, Virginia

When we travel we still need to get out and move. On our way to Florida we stopped in Williamsburg, VA to visit old friends. But we also discovered Wallen Mill Park, about 2 miles from my motel. Did four miles of off-road trails on a beautiful day at about 60 degrees. Snapped this photo from their Observation Tower. See you all soon.

Blackwater Creek kayaking

This recent photo of kayakers enjoying Blackwater Creek comes to us via Susan Young. She has been instrumental in helping to lead kayaking trips in Central Florida and getting new people involved in kayaking. I'm heading down to Florida in the next few days to join in all the fun. See you all soon.

Made in the USA

We just checked all of our books to be sure that they have all been printed in the USA. They have been.
So whether you check out our newest law enforcement management book pictured to your right, or any of our outdoor guides, you can rest assured that no U.S. jobs were harmed during the making and publishing of our books.

Winter Wonderland

Took this photo about 11 pm tonight as snow was gently falling on Glens Falls, NY. It's one of the reasons I stay here so long; just to get a taste of the beauty and crsipness of Winter.
But rest assured that when it really starts to get cold here in about 20 days, my truck and I will be headed south at a high rate of speed!

Best to all, North and South,
