The "Real Florida" tour by canoe Central Florida
We're back, and once again conducting eco-tour paddling trips on Spring Garden Run out of DeLeon Springs, Florida. Master Naturalist Roger Fulton (www.RogerFulton.com) will be your guide. Join us and explore the "Old Florida" and great wildlife in a wide and stable Gheenoe. These tours will be available this year and in future years from December 15th through March 15th. Here are the details: We offer a paddling trip in a wide and stable Gheenoe down an ancient Florida “Run.” Northerners might call it a creek. On this trip, where you do most of the paddling, we’ll sneak up on a wide variety of exotic Florida birds and other wildlife. It’s a two hour tour out of a traditional Florida “Fish Camp.” Expect to see about 25 species of Florida wildlife on this trip. Bring your camera. Offered afternoons and evenings from the end of December to the end of March. It is available for one or two people with a combined weight of no more than 400 pounds. We provide the Gheenoe, paddles, life jackets, binoculars and a wildlife reference guidebook. Total cost to you is $125.00 for the two of you. Deposit required in advance. Heavy rain or thunderstorms cancel and the tour is rescheduled or refunded. For a reservation send an e-mail to Roger@RogerFulton.com. We suggest you book well in advance to ensure availability.
