Lake Woodruff NWR is now open
Chris Friesen of DeLand advises that the Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge in DeLeon Springs is now open for hiking, biking and wildlife viewing. Apparently the flood waters have finally receded.
He actually sent us a pic when it was flooded and that is included here. Thanks Chris!
Enjoy the newly re-opened dikes and trails.

Hey Roger, we were out Saturday and it was great. The water is receding but not many birds coming in yet--won't be long now. It was great being back out there! Diamondback
